3 Flagship Projects in 3 Commune Flagship Zones for inclusive development (East, Center, West)
Like Konza Technology City, Putrajaya Smart City, Smart Selangor and Dubai Smart City, Notto Diobasse Smart City is a new urban hub strategically located 10 km from Blaise Diagne airport, 60 km from the capital Dakar and close to the city of Thiès. The project is an initiative of the municipality of Notto Diobasse.
The project covers an area of 332 hectares divided into 4 specialized zones.
1st Project: NDSMC Restructuring, Regularization, Requalification
Restructuring
Reorganizing space, redeveloping neighborhoods...
Regularization
Integrate Villages into the legal framework: Hamlet and Field titles for the benefit of "Owner" populations in each of the 67 Villages, for securitization (Lease, TF)
Requalification
Conversion of village sites (agricultural, new programs)
2nd Project: NDSMC Village Development
Housing estate
New subdivisions to the new Smart City standards in each of the 67 Villages.
Creating a SmartCity
creation of roads, public spaces, residential areas, local crafts and industries, shops.
Provision of basic social services
Provision of essential infrastructure and services: drinking water, sanitation, electricity, roads, education and health.
3rd Project: ND Smart City
Creation of an Aéroville, an Agroparc and a Business Park in the terroir zones, to meet the demand for massive job creation in modern agro-industrial sites for processing, preserving and marketing agricultural and industrial products near Diass airport, the future port of Ndayanne and major markets (Dakar, Thies, Touba), by providing logistical infrastructure and skilled labor:
